“Generations” is a musical journey through the sounds, stories, and emotions that connect different eras of popular music. Performed by WISH Academy students on June 3rd, the concert explores how artists across decades continue to inspire one another — from the groove-driven energy of classic American pop, funk, and soul to the raw emotion of grunge, the creativity of indie music, modern R&B, and contemporary singer-songwriter music. Through fresh interpretations of music shaped by different generations, our students celebrate the timeless power of rhythm, melody, and storytelling while highlighting how music continues to bring people together across cultures, styles, and time.
